I have visited and registered for 4 different social media which are Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The first looks of 4 different social media pretty much tell what those are designed for. Facebook and Instagram are both made for communication and interaction between users. People share their life by photos with simple words and by posting a small paragraph of their thoughts. Users can easily interface each other and share their thoughts. Yet, the website of Facebook seemed more ”old” and Instagram seemed more ”modern”. Twitter had more posting on economies and politics. More articles were posted and seemed it deals with more serious topics. Lastly, the Linkedin is an SNS that’s designed for professionals who want to develop social relations and for people who look for a job. Lots of professionals do interfaces through this platform and wide their social relationship and in fact, get hired. Each of different social media is designed and targeted for specific people and different characteristics. As a person who doesn’t really interface people though SNS I was quite impressed on how people interfaces each other with various platforms base on their interest and needs.
